Some of the popular attractions that you visit today are Wards Lake or Pollock's Lake- one of Shillong's most popular lakes, it is perfect as a picnic spot where one can enjoy boat riding also, the popular museums, Shillong peak for wonderful vistas and so on. Thereafter, you can head to the emporiums for indulging in shopping.

Post breakfast, road journey from Shillong to Cherrapunjee begins. Cherrapunjee, the second wettest place in the world is magical. Upon reaching, visit the popular tourist attractions such as Mawsami Cave- one of the best caves of Meghalaya, a natural wonderful with stalactites and stalagmites caves in various forms, shapes and sizes; Nohkalikai Fall- the highest waterfall in India with a height of 1115 feet; and Elephant Fall- around 12 km from the main town, it has been blessed with wonderful lush views. Thereafter, enjoy the views of the landscape of Bangladesh. In the evening, back to Shillong.
In the morning, enjoy hot breakfast. Later on get ready for visiting the popular Umaim Lake. This is a man-made lake that covers an area of 221 square km. It is the source of water and fish for the locals. The surroundings are wonderful and are filled with verdant vistas. A picnic can be planned on its banks. Visitors can also enjoy boat riding here along with angling, and kayaking Post lunch, hit the road to Guwahati. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
