Itinerary Details
Day 1 Arrive at Guwahati

After arriving in Guwahati, you will be assisted by our tour representative for a smooth transfer to the hotel.

Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 2 Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park

After enjoying your breakfast, make your way to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most famous pilgrimage sites for Hindus. When the temple hosts the Ambubashi Festival, it’s visited by over a million devotees. After seeking blessings of the Mother Goddess Kamakhya, make your way back to the hotel. Then, depart for Kaziranga National Park. After arriving, complete your check-in formalities at the Jungle resort. Visit and explore the Tea Estate (located in close proximity) in the afternoon. Enjoy yourself with a cultural show in the evening.

This is followed by an overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 3 Kaziranga

The day starts quite early, around 5.30 am. Explore the central and eastern range of the Kaziranga National Park via Elephant and Jeep Safari respectively. Afterwards, return back to the hotel for lunch and then set off to explore the western range of this wildlife sanctuary via jeep.

This is followed by an overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 4 Kaziranga - Shillong

Start off early in the morning for a road trip to Shillong (280km in 6 hours). Stop for lunch on the way at Borapani Umiam Lake, a peaceful lake enveloped by hills with dense vegetation. After arriving at Shillong, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. During the afternoon, take a trip to the local market.

This is followed by an overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.

Day 5 Shillong - Cherapunjee

After enjoying your breakfast in the morning, make your way to Cherapunjee, the place which receives rainfall throughout the year. Here, you will visit Noh-ka-Likai along with a few other caves in and around Cherapunjee. Then, make your way back to Shillong, visiting Shillong Peak and Elephanta Falls on the way.

This is followed by an overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.

Day 6 Shillong - Guwahati

Prepare yourself for a sightseeing tour of Shillong in the morning, with several palaces including Hydari Park and Ward Lake. Shillong, the former capital of Assam, is famously known as the “Scotland of the East”. Its home to the highland Khasi tribes.

After lunch, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7 Departure

Get transferred to the airport to board your onward flight for your onward journey.
