Itinerary Details
Day 1 Delhi - Leh

Board a flight from the Delhi Airport to Leh. On arrival, our tour representative meets you at the airport. Enjoy an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in. Now, the day is free for leisure activities and you can explore the place on your own. One of the most famous tourist destinations in India, the mesmerizing Leh is placed at an altitude of 3542 m, above the sea level. You can spend the day in acclimatizing yourself to the high altitude. In the evening, you can visit the local markets of Leh.

Day 2 Leh - Alchi - Leh

In the morning, start your journey to the Alchi village, located westwards of Leh. On the way, make a halt for driving on the magical Magnetic Hill- one of the most popular natural wonders of Ladakh. Later on, as you are driving, you come across at the confluence of Rivers Zanskar and Indus in Nimu. Stop here to click photographs. Continue towards Alchi Gompa. This Buddhist Monastery Complex was constructed between 958 - 1055 AD. It lies on the banks of Indus River. Housing some of the old miniature paintings on Buddhism, the monastery is one of the most important Buddhist centers of learning in Ladakh. While returning to Leh, visit the Military Hall of Fame- a memorial cum museum, it was constructed and is now maintained by the Army in the memory of war heroes.

Day 3 Leh - Nubra Valley

Day 3 starts early. Start your road journey to the tri-armed wonder of Nubra Valley. You drive across the Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, positioned at an altitude of 18360 feet. Savor the wonderful vistas of snow-capped Himalayas on the way. As you reach, complete the check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to Hundur and Diskit Monasteries, located close to each other. Both of these are famous Buddhist gompas of the Valley. After this, get ready for exploring the white sand dunes through Camel Safari on the backs of double-humped camels, found only here.

Stay overnight.

Day 4 Nubra Valley - Leh

Today, in the morning, you visit the beautiful Samstanling Monastery, which is popular for its peaceful ambiance. The assembly halls here are adorned with rare artifacts. Thereafter, begin returning to Leh via Khardung La. Upon reaching, check into the hotel. In the evening, explore the local markets of Leh, for buying souvenirs like wood carvings, Pashmina shawls, Masks, pearls, handicrafts and so on.

Day 5 Leh - Pangong Lake

Day 5 is scheduled for visiting the pristine Pangong Lake. During the road journey, you drive across Chang La- a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5360 m. Continue driving towards Pangong where you drive past Durnuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region. Observe the lifestyle of the locals here. In the afternoon, reach the banks of the lake where you set-up the tents. Pangong Lake, also called Pangong Tso, is an enchanting site. The surrounding views are stunning. Get an insight into the local culture of the region by visiting the local villages.

Day 6 Pangong - Leh

The day starts early. Savor the breathtaking views of the sunrise and the surroundings. Do not miss out on the opportunity of capturing these beautiful moments in your camera. Later on, relish breakfast. Return journey to Leh begins. If you want, on the way, you may stop to explore Hemis Monastery, the largest and the richest monastery of Ladakh. You reach Leh by afternoon. Complete the check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight in Leh.

Day 7 Leh – Delhi

In the morning, get transferred to the Kushok Bakula Airport for boarding the flight for Delhi.
