Itinerary Details
Day 1 Arrival in Cochin

Arrive at the Cochin Airport where you meet our tour representative. He offers you an assisted transfer to the hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, get ready for sightseeing. The popular attractions of Cochin that you visit today include Santa Cruz Basilica- built in 1558 by the Portuguese, it is one of the eight Basilicas in Kerala; the Dutch Palace or the Mattancherry Palace- commissioned in 1557, it is known for housing stunning murals, and St. Francis Church- it is the oldest European church in the country. Make your bond stronger as you share your ideas about the places you visit.

Day 2 Cochin – Munnar (127 km)

On this day, start your road to Munnar, one of the most popular hill stations in Kerala. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Relax for some time. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can indulge in the activities of your interest. Explore the place on your own, walking hand-in-hand. The peaceful, lush and pristine Munnar hill town has year round salubrious weather, aromatic tea estates, wonderful vistas and many other allures for its visitors. This is an ideal destination for newly wedded couples.

Day 3 Munnar

On the 3rd day, after breakfast, get ready for sightseeing in Munnar. The attractions that you both visit include the CSI Christ Church- this wonderful Gothic piece of architecture was constructed way back in 1910, and Mattupetty Dam- an enchanting site where you can plan a picnic. If you both love wildlife and nature, you are going to love a visit to Eravikulam National Park, housing Anamudi peak. It is the highest mountain peak in Western Ghats and is quite popular amid trekking enthusiasts. At the wildlife reserve, enjoy wildlife safari and spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.

Day 4 Munnar – Kumarakom (146 km)

In the morning, leave by road for Kumarakom, one of the most romantic places in Kerala, known for its serene backwaters, verdant surroundings, and avifaunal treasure. On arriving, check-in at backwater resort. After lunch, get all set for bird watching at the popular Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Spread over an area of 14 acres, it is home to several resident and migratory birds including Siberian Stork, Siberian Crane, Water fowl, Egret, Flycatcher etc. Later on, both of you partake in water sailing and water skiing.

Day 5 Kumarakom – Kottayam - Alleppey

Day 5 is going to be a memorable affair. In the morning, move to Kottayam by road. Arrive at the Kottayam jetty, check into a well-equipped houseboat, which is going to take you to Alleppey, the backwater hub of Kerala. Made from indigenous materials, this houseboat comes with options of number of rooms, a fully-equipped kitchenette, etc. It is locally known as Ketuvallam. You are accompanied by a chef and a rower. Enjoy the modern comforts, treat your eyes to the wonderful views, partake in bird watching and so on.

Day 6 Alleppey – Kovalam (159 km)

Arrival in Alleppey in the morning. De-board the houseboat and start your road journey to the spectacular beach town of Kovalam. As you reach, check into the hotel. Relax for some time. Thereafter, head to the paradisiacal Kovalam beach to partake in exciting water sports activities such as swimming, surfing, kayaking, water skiing and so on. Thereafter, opt for a relaxing herbal Ayurvedic massage to pamper each other.

Day 7 Kovalam - Kanyakumari – Kovalam

Today, opt for a day's excursion to Cape Comorin, now known as Kanyakumari. Located on the southern tip of the Cardamom Hills, it was called Cape Comorin during the British days. It is a popular Hindu religious site, and is known for its ancient temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Visit the beach with multi-colored sand and partake in leisure activities. A verdant beach town. Spend some peaceful moments here and know each other better. Later, in the evening, get back to Kovalam.

Day 8 Kovalam – Trivandrum for Departure

Start your day early. Go for city tour of Trivandrum, including the highly revered Padmanabhapuram Palace- built in the 16th century, this palace has stunning murals, intricate carvings, splendid rose wood furniture, a capacious Durbar Hall, etc. and later, Government Archeological museum-comprising of murals, wood carvings and other artifacts. Thereafter, get on-time transfer to the international airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
